What is the OU Run to Dallas?
This year marks the 25th anniversary of the Run to Dallas, when midshipmen of the OU Naval ROTC program run the OU game ball roughly 200 miles from Norman to Dallas ahead of the OU-Texas game at the Cotton Bowl. At the end of the journey, the midshipmen of OU's NROTC program square off in athletic competitions against their Texas counterparts, before presenting the game ball to officials during pre-game events.
