Welcome to the Palace: Where the Magic Happens
The theme this year is "Welcome to the Palace: Where the Magic Happens" and celebrates family, hard work, and the magic that makes the University of Oklahoma special. Homecoming Reunion Week will be held from October 10th-15th, concluding with the Homecoming football game against Kansas on October 15th.
Celebrating OU and its traditions
As the oldest event on campus, Homecoming brings students, alumni, and the greater Norman community together to celebrate our university and the traditions that make it so special. This year, campus organizations will team up to compete in our mainstay events like the Rah! Rally and the annual Homecoming Parade, as well as decorating the campus with intricately crafted boards, banners, and chalk drawings. Alumni are honored throughout the week as we welcome them back to the campus that they will always call home.
Help support the OU community
With Homecoming’s focus on serving the entirety of OU’s community, each and every year we expand our outreach to students, alumni, and Norman community members. This year, we are hoping to raise the funds to help us continue to provide a stellar Rah! Rally at the Lloyd Noble Center, as well as include new events focused on engaging the freshman who have just arrived on OU’s campus. However, each year the cost to host OU’s Homecoming continues to increase and often presents a daunting task for our organization. This also extends to the many organizations that participate and the cost of materials for them (float supplies, Rah! Rally costumes, etc.). With OU’s community support, we can continue to provide more inclusive and engaging events for students.
